Parent Seminar
Staff will be providing information about team operations, fees and the upcoming season. Due to COVID regulations we can only accomendate 1 parent per player and parents must rsvp for sessions at https://asc.cc/parents
Selection Information
40 Players for U18 and 40 players for U16 will be selected from the "Intend to play" registrations that were received on or before August 12th by BC Hockey.
All players will be contacted about their status by the end of day on friday August 14th, 2020.
Players were contacted on August 14th and 15th about their successful or unscessful selection. Players must register and pay all fees by Tuesday Agust 18th to be able to take part in the next steps of the selection process
During the tryout camp, U18 and U16 players will be evaluated together.
Camp Information
Camp starts Friday at 8 AM with fitness sessions starting at 9 or 10 AM. Players will be split into smaller groups and will receive their testing and ice schedule no later than Wednesday August 19th.
There will also be several presentations on friday that players must attend. All presentations will take place in the Columbia meeting room at the Coast Hotel and Conference.
Fitness testing will take place at Hillside Stadium. All ice Sessions will take place at MacArthur Island Sport and Events Center.
Friday's sessions will conclude at 5 PM.
COVID Regulations
The City of Kamloops, BC Hockey and the Thompson Blazers have implemented strict COVID regulations and special instructions on arrival procedures will be shared with players before camp.
Due to the maximum gathering size restrictions and capacity limits, NO SPECTATORS will be allowed during ice sessions at McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre.
Players must bring their own water and bottles as all public water stations have been closed by the City of Kamloops and sharing of bottles is not allowed.
Players must bring all of their own gear, including tape and other necessary supplies. Jerseys will be provided.
