General Manager

Troy Larsen assumes the role as general manager of the Thompson Blazers program for a second consecutive season. Larsen is an experienced member of the hockey community in Kamloops, having served as the Vice President of Kamloops Minor Hockey Association from 2011-2019, and the Director of Hockey Operations for the Kamloops Junior Blazers Development program from 2015-2021.

Originally from Fort St. John, Larsen attended University College of the Cariboo (now Thompson Rivers University) in Kamloops. Outside of hockey, Larsen works for Bell Canada.

Jan Antons

Business Operations

Jan is in his 3rd season with the team. In 2023 Jan decided to take a step back and focus more on the Business Operations. Antons also serves as Vice President of the Kamloops Sports Council.

Jan is in his 3rd season with the team. In 2023 Jan decided to take a step back and focus more on the Business Operations. Antons also serves as Vice President of the Kamloops Sports Council.

Jan Antons has a passion for sports and has over 10 years of experience in the sports industry. Prior to joining the Blazers, Antons worked for the Calgary Flames and Hockey Canada. Antons was the Equipment Manager for Hockey Canada at the 2013 World Championships in Seoul, South Korea and the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

In addition to spending time with Blazers, Antons is the Vendor Management Specialist at BCLC.

Jan Antons holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business as well as a Diploma from Thompson Rivers University.

In 2014, Antons was named Sports Person of the Year for the City of Kamloops.

Jan is also a recipient of the "Above and Beyond" Award of the Province of British Columbia

Greg Kozoris

Greg Kozoris is the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Thompson Blazers.

Kozoris is a high school teacher and university professor in Kamloops, specializing in strength and conditioning. He also owns and operates Acceleration, Kozoris Strength and Conditioning in Kamloops.

Head Coach

After serving as head coach of the Female U18 Thompson-Okanagan Lakers for two seasons, and the U17 Okanagan Rockets last season, Ed Patterson joins the U18 Thompson Blazers as head coach for the 2025-26 season. He spent eight years coaching and facilitating clinics with Kamloops Minor Hockey Association, eight years as head coach of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League’s Kamloops Storm and the two seasons as an assistant coach with the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League (WHL).  

After serving as head coach of the Female U18 Thompson-Okanagan Lakers for two seasons, and the U17 Okanagan Rockets last season, Ed Patterson joins the U18 Thompson Blazers as head coach for the 2025-26 season. Patterson played his minor hockey with Delta Minor Hockey Association before playing for the Seattle Thunderbirds, Swift Current Broncos and Kamloops Blazers of the WHL. He accumulated 15 years of professional hockey experience, playing in the International Hockey League (IHL) in North America, Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) in Germany, Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) in the United Kingdom and the National Hockey League, where he played 68 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins from 1993 to 1997.

Head Coach

Cody Campbell’s second season in the BCEHL will see him step behind the bench for the U17 Thompson Blazers. Campbell has spent the previous two seasons with North Shore Winter Club, serving both as a head coach and skills coach for the association.

Cody Campbell’s second season in the BCEHL will see him step behind the bench for the U17 Thompson Blazers. Campbell has spent the previous two seasons with North Shore Winter Club, serving both as a head coach and skills coach for the association.

Campbell grew up in Maple Ridge and played for Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association. After three years of junior hockey, Campbell moved on to NCAA hockey where he laced up for the University of Alabama-Huntsville Men’s Hockey team for two seasons. Campbell’s hockey journey then took him overseas where he played nine seasons professionally in France and Kazakhstan.

The 2025-26 season will mark the second season in the BCEHL for U15 Thompson Blazers Head Coach Kyle Allan. With over 16 years of coaching in the Kamloops area, Allan has spent time at the U13, U15 and U18 levels. He is a member of BC Hockey’s Coaching Program and serves as the Regional Evaluation Lead for the North Okanagan area.

The 2025-26 season will mark the second season in the BCEHL for U15 Thompson Blazers Head Coach Kyle Allan. With over 16 years of coaching in the Kamloops area, Allan has spent time at the U13, U15 and U18 levels. He is a member of BC Hockey’s Coaching Program and serves as the Regional Evaluation Lead for the North Okanagan area.

Allan holds a Bachelor’s of Education/Physical Education from Thompson Rivers University, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Vancouver Island University. Away from the rink, Allan is a high school teacher.
